Xiaoyu Matthew Ma is a Managing Director at Gaorong Capital, a Beijing-based venture firm focused on early and growth-stage technology companies across Asia. His current mandate centers on later early-stage and Series B investments in sectors like e-commerce, messaging, media and content, social networks, fintech and SaaS, with an investment range of $100K to $5.0M and a sweet spot around $1.5M. In his role on Gaorong’s leadership team, he oversees part of the firm’s technology portfolio and helps guide strategy for its multi-billion-dollar funds.
