Tarun Davda is Managing Director at Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India) in Mumbai, where he writes $100 K–$5 M checks into Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds across AgTech, gaming/eSports, retail, consumer internet, e-commerce, and logistics. His most recent lead was the $3.5 M Series A for GenWise. He is based in Mumbai and co-founded StepOut.com (later acquired by IAC), served as India CEO of Howzat, and began his career in emerging-markets investment banking at Goldman Sachs before transitioning to technology strategy roles at Spotify and Splice.
