Kelly (Jiying) Qiao is a Senior Principal at B Capital Group, where she leads healthcare investments across Asia from the firm’s China/Hong Kong platform. She focuses on growth-stage and later-stage deals, typically $25.0M to $60.0M, in biotechnology, medical devices, drug delivery, digital health, health IT and broader healthcare services. Before joining B Capital, she spent around two decades in the global healthcare industry in R&D, sales, marketing and investing, including work on drug development at a major pharmaceutical company and molecular diagnostics at a large diagnostics firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a PhD in biology from Tsinghua University, giving her a deep scientific foundation for evaluating complex healthcare technologies.
