About Investor

Yi Tang is a Principal at Qiming Venture Partners, where he focuses on Web3 and crypto infrastructure and applications. He invests primarily in early-stage Web3 companies (seed and Series A) with check sizes in the $100K to $5.0M range, and has backed projects such as InfStones, imToken, and Matrixport. Previously, he worked at ConsenSys (including leading ConsenSys China) and in the cybersecurity advisory practice at EY in the United States, and he holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a master’s in computer engineering from Virginia Tech.
