About Investor

Wilson Kyi is a Partner at Basis Set Ventures. He typically leads or participates in pre-seed, seed and Series A rounds in AI, future of work, enterprise software, logistics, transportation tech, fintech, e-commerce, construction tech and real estate/proptech, with an investment range of $1M to $3.0M and a sweet spot around $2.0M. Before Basis Set, he built and led growth and retention, outreach automation and product initiatives at Square, launched and managed new businesses at DiDi and CloudKitchens, and began venture investing at Fifth Wall Ventures while also angel investing. He co-founded Fish Sauce, a community for Asian American founders, operators and investors, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California.
