William Quartner is a Partner at Prelude Growth Partners, where he leads investments in consumer-focused companies—particularly in sectors like direct-to-consumer (DTC), food & beverage, consumer health, wellness & fitness, e‑commerce, and consumer internet—typically at Series A and Series B stages, with a check size ranging from $10 M to $100 M (with a “sweet spot” around $25 M). Prior to joining Prelude in 2018, he worked on the private equity investing team at Goldman Sachs Principal Investment Area, focusing on consumer and retail, and before that served on the investment team of TowerBrook Capital Partners, after beginning his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at J.P. Morgan
