Will Mitchell is a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, investing from Austin in pre-seed and seed rounds for companies in mobility/transportation, medical devices, biotech, digital health, marketplaces, payments, retail, e-commerce, health IT and health services, typically with $200K–$300K checks. Alongside his investor role, he is co-founder and CEO of Rabbet (formerly Contract Simply), a construction finance platform that digitizes complex lending workflows for real estate projects. Before founding Rabbet, he spent more than a decade in commercial real estate, which informs both his operator and investor perspectives.
