Vishal Gulati is Co-founder and Managing Partner at Recode Ventures and a long-time specialist healthtech and life-sciences investor who has also served as a Venture Partner at Molten Ventures. He typically backs pre-seed through growth-stage companies with $100K–$5.0M checks (and into larger syndicates) in digital health, AI/ML for healthcare, deeptech, data/analytics and direct-to-consumer health products. Trained as a clinician-scientist at Oxford and Imperial, he has nearly three decades of experience backing over 40 companies, and continues to chair or sit on investment committees for funds such as Cancer Research UK’s Seed Fund, KHP Ventures and the University of Cambridge Seed Fund.
