Virginie Lucchini is Partner and Head of Sustainability at Axeleo Capital in Paris, France (joined February 2020). She leads Middle Office, Compliance, and ESG initiatives across Axeleo's €150M AUM platform, which manages three funds focused on early-stage B2B tech, PropTech/ConTech, and GreenTech startups in Europe. She pioneered Axeleo's ESG-indexed BSPCE warrants (equity warrants tied to ESG performance criteria for portfolio company employees). Before joining Axeleo, she took a 1-year break backpacking in Eastern and Southern Africa. Prior to that, she was at Younited Credit (2015–2018), where she built and led the Compliance Department and served as General Counsel, helping set up credit activities in Italy, Spain, and Portugal. She began her career in banking. She is an ESSEC alumna.
