Vee Fakhr is an angel investor and the CEO and Co-Founder of Evalyze, the AI fundraising platform used by 15,000+ founders. Before Evalyze he spent a decade in venture capital as a Principal and Investment Manager, backing 100+ early stage companies across investment banking, VC and acceleration programs, and he co-founded and exited SCART as CEO and Chairman. He was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler and translated Venture Deals and The Secrets of Sand Hill Road, so he knows term sheets from both sides of the table. He writes personal cheques of $10K to $50K into idea, pre-seed and seed rounds, usually alongside a lead, and focuses on AI infrastructure and applications, the future of work, fintech, and AI in healthcare. He prefers technical or domain-expert founders with a clear wedge and early signs of pull, and he's most useful post-cheque on fundraising strategy, investor introductions and round structuring. He's based in Toronto, Ontario and invests in Canada and the US, with an open mind on other geographies for exceptional teams. He typically decides within two weeks of a first call and is happy to be the first small cheque in.
