Valentina Terranova serves as Managing Partner at Draper Cygnus, focusing on investments ranging from $100K to $1M in AgTech, Space, Robotics, Web3/Blockchain, BioTech, ClimateTech/CleanTech, Semiconductors, AI, Cybersecurity, and DeepTech companies from pre-seed through seed stages. Based in Miami, Florida, Terranova is deeply involved in backing deep tech Latino founders and is also the Co-founder and General Partner at Embarca, having founded the Embarca Accelerator in Argentina in 2017. She particularly targets female investors, diverse investors, and those who invest in female founders and diverse founders, with a geographic focus on LatAm (Latin America) and Raleigh-Durham/Southeast US.
