Tom Demery is a Managing Director at Valor Equity Partners, where he works on the investor relations team for the firm’s private equity strategies. His investing profile, built during his time at Monroe Capital, typically involves $2.0M to $15.0M commitments into growth-stage deals, especially across retail, media & content, real estate/proptech, fintech, SaaS, health IT and digital health from seed through Series B. He began his investment career at Putnam Investments and later held senior distribution and business-development roles at Stairway Partners, Fox River Partners and Evanston Capital Management before becoming Managing Director and Co-Head of Wealth Management Solutions at Monroe Capital. Demery holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA in History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
