Tim Thimmaiah is the founder & CEO of Type Five, a technology-driven homebuilding company, and an investor associated with Black Jays Investments, where your sheet lists him as a Principal and other sources show him as an advisor. His angel / micro-fund activity is concentrated in very early-stage software-enabled companies across social commerce, SMB software, gaming, creator tools, consumer internet and SaaS, typically pre-seed and seed with checks in the $25K to $250K range. The common thread is product-led growth and strong UX, often backing founders at the “first version live, early traction” moment. Before Type Five, he founded and sold ToneDen and held senior product roles at Eventbrite, which is why his investing lens is heavily operator- and product-centric.
