Tim Smith is a Partner at Bee Partners, focusing on early-stage investments (pre-seed to Series A) in sectors spanning human-machine interaction, machine learning, and biological platforms, deploying checks typically between $150K and $2M. His background includes founding or co-founding eight companies, plus leadership at pioneering interactive agency Red Sky Interactive, which he grew to nearly 600 employees before its acquisition. He also formerly worked in consulting at Ernst & Young and has been closely involved with accelerator programs such as UC Berkeley’s SkyDeck.
