Tim Roe is a Principal at UFP Ventures, the corporate venture arm of UFP Industries, and is based around Columbus/Ohio and the broader Midwest. He invests at pre-seed and seed in AgTech, EnergyTech, hardware and advanced manufacturing, typically writing checks in the $150K to $325K range, including through his prior work with Rev1 Ventures. His background blends financial operations, early-stage venture capital and company-building, and he has held director-level roles at Rev1 Ventures and impact-focused investor Empactful Capital. He has also served on or advised several software and healthcare startups, giving him hands-on experience supporting founders post-investment.
