About Investor

Tim Hoag is Founder and Managing Partner of Legion VC, a talent-first venture capital firm launched in September 2025 that leverages its partnership with Artisanal Talent, the leading executive search firm in software and AI, to invest in and supercharge generational companies with executive hires, advisors, and customers at the Series A/B stage; recent investments include Oasis. He is also a Partner at Artisanal Ventures, where he has invested in Abnormal AI, AcuityMD, Cyera, Fireworks AI, and Resolve AI. Previously, he spent time as Partner at TCV, where he helped lead software and fintech investing, backing companies including Toast, was Chief of Staff & Partnerships at Gainsight, and an Investor at Bessemer Venture Partners. He began his career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from Boston College's Carroll School of Management.
