Thaisan Tonthat is a cofounder and CPO at Tidepool Labs and also invests as a founder-operator VC. His investing at Tidepool Labs centres on early-stage software companies in areas like sales & CRM tooling, social commerce, web3, and digitally enabled education and health, mostly at seed and Series A with check sizes generally between $100K and $5M. He previously co-founded recruiting software company Foundry Hiring, later acquired by Dropbox, and spent several years on Dropbox’s engineering and design teams; he also teaches as a lecturer at Stanford, combining product, engineering, and academic experience in how he works with founders.
