Tarek Assaad is a Managing Partner and Co-founder at Algebra Ventures and is based in Cairo, Egypt. He focuses on FinTech, AgTech, and enterprise infrastructure companies at the Seed, Series A, and Series B stages. His investment interests include digital financial products, agricultural technologies, and infrastructure that supports enterprise operations and growth. Tarek generally invests between $500K and $5M, with a preferred commitment of approximately $3M. As a lead investor, he plays an active role in company selection, financing decisions, transaction structuring, and portfolio strategy. At Algebra Ventures, he supports technology companies as they scale their operations and expand across regional markets.
