About Investor

Tanya Dadasheva is Managing Director at Almaz Capital, where she invests in global technology startups and helps bring prominent CEE companies to international markets. Her focus is Series A deep tech across hardware, data infrastructure, Web3/blockchain, IoT, semiconductors, AI, marketplaces, cybersecurity, SaaS and broader enterprise software, typically investing between $1M and $10.0M. She has been with Almaz Capital since 2014, progressing from analyst to associate to investment director and now managing director, and has led or supported multiple Series A and B rounds in infrastructure and deep tech. Beyond Almaz, she has co-founded the open-source AI company Ainekko and previously worked on open-source policy and mission-driven tech initiatives, and she holds a mathematics degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
