Taizo Son is an Angel Investor at Mistletoe and is based in Tokyo, Japan. He focuses on food and beverage, ClimateTech and CleanTech, and Consumer Internet companies at the Pre-seed and Seed stages. His investment work centers on food innovation, sustainability and climate solutions, and consumer-facing digital products. Taizo generally invests between $100K and $5M, with a preferred commitment of approximately $1M. As a lead investor, he contributes directly to company evaluation, financing decisions, product strategy, and portfolio development. Through Mistletoe, he supports early-stage founders working on technology, sustainability, and consumer-focused innovation.
