About Investor

Suzanne Fletcher is Founder and General Partner at Zelda Ventures (founded late 2022), a $33M pre-seed fund based in Portola Valley investing in serial entrepreneurs' next companies — exclusively backing founders she has previously backed. Her thesis: "I started Zelda Ventures with a pretty basic thesis — invest in the next companies of founders I backed before." Over a two-decade investing career, she has made 350+ investments across 900+ founders, most notably in Sourcegraph, Hive, Alation, Turing, Dexterity, and Orca Bio. Before founding Zelda Ventures, she was General Partner at Prime Movers Lab ($1B fund for breakthrough physical science companies). Before that, she spent five years managing the Stanford-StartX Fund — overseeing $175M of direct investment in 300+ startups across 500+ rounds at Stanford University's affiliated accelerator. She began her career at Morgan Stanley in the Technology Financial Sponsors Group, then spent a decade in secondary private equity. She holds a BS in Finance and Information Systems from the Wharton School (magna cum laude) and an MBA from Stanford GSB.
