Susan Paley is a Partner at Conduit Venture Labs, a Seattle-based hardware venture studio and fund building "hard-tech" companies that blend hardware and software, where she leads Conduit Beacon, its support arm for hardware founders. She also serves as a Limited Partner at Everywhere Ventures (The Fund), investing between $100K and $500K in Entertainment & Sports, IoT, Consumer Internet, and Wellness & Fitness at seed and Series A. She was the first employee and CEO of Beats by Dr. Dre, where she developed "Beats Audio" technology now featured in millions of devices through partnerships with HTC, Chrysler/Fiat, and HP, and later founded DropLabs, a sensory technology startup. Earlier, she led an in-vehicle digital media UCLA spinout later acquired by Harman International. She is based in Los Angeles, California.
