Sunil Pai is Co-Founder and Managing Director at ACOF (Angel Collective Opportunity Fund), a pooled vehicle sitting on top of several angel investor microfunds, which he co-founded with Nick Candito in 2020; ACOF's portfolio includes Array, DoNotPay, Cart.com, Mercury, Varda Space, and Chroma. He also serves as an Advisor to Akash Systems, an AI infrastructure company backed by Founders Fund and Khosla Ventures. Previously, he spent six years at AngelList (2017-2023), where he was an early team member leading growth, business development, and launching emerging manager and startup business lines. Before that, he was a venture capitalist at Draper Fisher Jurvetson and a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He holds a BA and certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology from UC Berkeley, where he was a member of the top-ranked debate team and won the California state debate championship.
