Sungjoon Cho is Founder and Managing Partner at Fortitude Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm focused on AI and Robotics powered autonomy — backing early-stage companies across multiple generations of AI and robotics, from computer vision and machine learning to today's generative AI advances. Previously, Sungjoon was General Partner at D20 Capital and Partner at Amasia (a global VC with focus on Southeast Asia and emerging markets). He began his career as a Technical Product Manager at Samsung (mobile System-on-Chip processors) during the mobile computing shift, then advised companies navigating mobile disruption as a consultant at McKinsey. He was a Kauffman Fellow (Class 25), completing his fellowship at D20 Capital under the mentorship of Seth Levine (Foundry Group). He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a degree from Seoul National University, and studied at UIUC.
