Steven Lee is Founder and General Partner at Seven Stars, a pre-seed and seed-stage venture capital firm he launched in 2025, closing a $40 million inaugural fund (oversubscribed in five weeks) focused on early-stage AI-powered application companies across consumer and enterprise technology. Before founding Seven Stars, he spent over a decade as a Partner at SV Angel, backing and advising founders behind companies including Skild AI, Reflection AI, and ElevenLabs, having supported over 900 financings and helped raise more than $1.25 billion in capital. Before SV Angel, he was a Director at Bain Capital Ventures, working with portfolio companies like Clockwise and Magical, and founded Bain Capital Ventures' data-driven sourcing efforts. Earlier, he was an early member of Twitter's Global Market Insight & Analytics team. He is a first-generation Korean American who grew up in Los Angeles' Koreatown, and actively supports Gold House. He holds a BA in Economics from New York University.
