Steve (Stephan) Ahern is a Partner at KB Partners, an early-stage VC firm focused on the intersection of sports, media and technology. His current investing role (often listed as Principal/Partner) comes with a typical check size of $750K to $3.0M, usually at Seed and Series A, into sectors such as sports & esports, AR/VR, fan engagement, analytics, media/content, consumer health and AI. He sits on or observes several boards including GridRival, SIQ, StreamLayer and Tixologi, reflecting a strong tilt toward sports-tech and fan-experience platforms.
