Steli Efti is a Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund and co-founder & CEO of Close, a sales-focused CRM company. At Pioneer Fund he helps select and support pre-seed and seed-stage startups (often YC alumni) across SaaS, sales tools, B2B software and internet businesses, with typical checks in the $200K–$300K range. He is widely known as a sales operator and coach, having built multiple startups, authored several books on selling and worked as a high-energy advisor to early-stage founders. His operating base is in New York while his investing platform is Bay Area–rooted, giving him a cross-coastal founder network.
