Stefan Leermann is a Managing Director at Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) and also Managing Director at S-Beteiligungen Leipzig and WMS. Through TGFS he backs technology and healthcare startups in Saxony and broader Germany in areas like energy tech, biotech, consumer internet, SaaS, health IT and digital health, usually investing $100K to $5.6M from seed to Series B. He began his investment career in 1997 at Sachsen LB Corporate Finance Holding, later led Exit & Funding there, then worked at HSH Private Equity (now Capcellence) and joined the management team of industrial firm P.E.R. Flucht und Rettungsleitsysteme, bringing over two decades of deal and portfolio experience.
