Sinan Uzan is the President of Tekfen Ventures, based between New York and Istanbul, and he also sits on Tekfen Holding’s Board of Directors. His investing focus is tech for “legacy” industries, spanning agtech, construction tech, industrial/enterprise software and hardware, security/cyber, robotics, IoT, and select biotech, typically at Series A and Series B. His investment range is $100K – $5.0M (sweet spot $1.5M). Background-wise, he’s positioned as the bridge between Tekfen’s operating footprint and venture investing, running the strategic partnership and fund direction.
