Simone Syed is Founder and Managing Partner of Velorum Capital, a San Francisco–based seed-stage venture firm. She backs pre-seed and seed companies at the convergence of industrial hardware, manufacturing, construction, robotics, energy, biotech, security and digital assets/blockchain, with investment sizes typically in the $250K–$1M range. Her background spans roles as a GP at Velorum, investor and industrialist, plus prior work in crypto/fintech (including marketing leadership at Bitcoin.com/Tradehill) and co-founding GammaPay. She is active in the broader deep-tech and web3 ecosystem as both investor and public advocate.
