About Investor

Shohei Michael Maekawa is the Managing Director of InnoSpace Thailand and is based in Singapore. He invests in BioTech, food and beverage, and AgTech companies at the Pre-seed and Seed stages. His investment work focuses on businesses developing innovations in life sciences, agriculture, and sustainable food production. Shohei generally invests between $50K and $500K, with a preferred commitment of approximately $250K. As a lead investor, he works closely with founders on investment execution, strategic development, and early business growth. Through InnoSpace Thailand, he helps science-driven startups commercialize their technologies and expand into regional markets.
