About Investor

Shinichi Hasako is Senior Investment Director at Taiho Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Taiho Pharmaceutical. His investments span biotech, pharmaceuticals, therapeutics, manufacturing and healthcare services, mainly at pre-seed and seed stages with typical initial checks in the low- to mid-six-figure range. He has spent much of his career across Taiho Pharmaceutical, Taiho Ventures and Banyu Pharmaceutical in drug discovery, development and corporate planning, and holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, an MPhil in cellular and molecular biology, and a PhD in oncology and cancer biology.
