Shaheen Shamsavari is Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Xandex Inc. and an active angel investor, including as an investor with the Berkeley Angel Network and principal at Xandex Ventures. He typically invests $5K–$50K at pre-seed and seed stages across biotech, energy, semiconductors, health IT, digital health and therapeutics. His background spans business development and portfolio management across Xandex’s semiconductor, solar and investment divisions, after earlier work in formulations and process development at Gilead Sciences, and he holds a Molecular & Cell Biology degree from UC Berkeley and helped found HealthTech Capital.
