Shaan C. Gandhi is currently Vice President and Head of Partnerships for PAVE at Pfizer, where he focuses on building creative commercial and royalty-stream partnerships around US brands. As an investor, he serves as a Managing Director at Northpond Ventures, leading biotechnology investments with a focus on biotech, therapeutics, medical devices and digital health, primarily at Series A and B. At Northpond his typical check size is $100K to $5.0M, with a sweet spot near $1.5M, backing science-driven companies like Kyverna, CAMP4 and StrideBio. Previously, he was a Principal at Longwood Fund, where he co-founded and served as President of Pyxis Oncology, and before that he practiced as a hospitalist at Massachusetts General Hospital. He trained as an MD at Harvard Medical School and holds both a DPhil from Oxford and an MBA-style background in life-science company building.
