Seth Friedman is Managing Director and Head of Structured Solutions at Monroe Capital in Chicago. In his investing capacity he typically deploys $2.0M–$15.0M per deal, with an $8.5M sweet spot, across seed through Series B and later-stage structured financings, with concentration in digital health, health IT, health & hospital services, fintech, retail, media/content and real estate/proptech. His work at Monroe focuses on structuring and negotiating rated private funds and CLO/warehouse vehicles, overseeing compliance and operations teams, and managing investor reporting and portfolio management. He has more than 15 years of experience in CLO and structured-credit markets and previously held roles at Pangaea Asset Management, CapitalSource Finance and LaSalle Bank. He earned a B.S. in Business-Legal Studies from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
