Sebastian Schaefer is a Partner at Picus Capital in Munich, where he focuses on early-stage venture investments. His investing activity centers on pre-seed and seed rounds in tech-driven businesses, including EnergyTech, TransportationTech, HRTech, InsurTech, Health IT, PropTech, e-commerce and fintech, typically writing checks in the $250K to $750K range. He is part of Picus’s global early-stage strategy, backing B2B software and digital platforms in Europe and the US. Before joining Picus in 2018, he worked in strategy consulting and studied business administration in Germany with international experience in Asia.
