About Investor

Sean Kendall is a Partner at ARCH Venture Partners, where he is part of the European team focused on building and backing transformational science and deep-tech companies. His investing centers on EnergyTech, BioTech, chemicals and advanced materials, and semiconductors, primarily at Seed and Series A, with typical check sizes in the roughly $50K to $150M range. He has over a decade in life sciences investing and company-building, including helping create and finance companies such as Vizgen and Scale Biosciences, and has been closely involved with multiple ARCH portfolio companies. Before ARCH, he worked as an equity research analyst covering life sciences and completed engineering degrees at Stanford followed by an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
