Scott Kriz is an investor at Spitfire Ventures and the CEO of SGNL, an enterprise authorization startup. As an investor he focuses on developer tools, cloud infrastructure, security, data services, enterprise software and SaaS, usually at pre-seed, seed and Series A, writing checks in the $50K to $100K range. His operating background includes founding and serving as CEO of Bitium, a cloud identity and access management platform acquired by Google, and earlier senior product roles at Fastpoint Games, Pro Elite, and MindEdge. After Bitium’s acquisition he worked in product at Google before leaving to start SGNL, giving him experience across multiple venture-backed cycles as a founder. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Union College and also studied at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
