About Investor

Sarath Naru is the Founder and Managing Partner of VenturEast in Bangalore, India. He invests in DeepTech, Health and Hospital Services, and enterprise companies from Seed through Series B. His work focuses on businesses using technology to solve complex problems in healthcare, industry, and organizational operations. His investments generally range from $1.5M to $10M, with a preferred ticket of approximately $5M. As a lead investor, he plays an active role in financing decisions, portfolio strategy, and supporting founders during periods of rapid development. Through VenturEast, Sarath helps Indian technology companies progress from early commercial validation toward larger and more established businesses.
