Sam Teller is Partner of Thrive Capital (and historically Managing Director & co-founder of Launchpad LA), an accelerator and investment platform backing early-stage startups. He typically writes $100K–$2.0M checks at pre-seed and seed across govtech, local services, fashion, games, social commerce, SMB software, marketing tech, education and entertainment. Teller has a long operating résumé, including serving as Director of the Office of the CEO at SpaceX, Tesla and The Boring Company, and previously co-founding the LA-based media company Charlie and seed fund Charlie Ventures.
