Ryan Orbuch is a Partner at Lowercarbon Capital, concentrating on investments in ClimateTech/CleanTech at the Seed and Series A stages, with investment ranges typically between $100K and $3.0M. He leads the firm's work in carbon removal and prior to joining Lowercarbon, helped initiate and led Stripe's carbon removal procurement program, which is generally regarded as the best in the industry. Before Stripe, he was a product designer and software engineer, co-founding Volley, an education software startup, and prior to that, while in high school, designed Finish, an Apple Design Award-winning productivity app for students. Ryan grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where his environmental curiosity was sparked at a young age.
