Ryan Gembala is a Managing Partner at Pathbreaker Ventures, focusing on investments in AR/VR, Hardware, Robotics, AgTech, Food and Beverage, Data Services, AI, Space, and Enterprise at the Pre-seed and Seed stages, with investment ranges typically between $250K and $1M. He founded Pathbreaker Ventures in 2015 to invest in emerging hardware and software technologies, bringing a decade of experience co-founding and operating companies, investing from pre-seed to growth stages, and acquiring venture-backed companies at Meta (Facebook). Prior to starting Pathbreaker, he was a deal lead on the corporate development team at Meta where he worked with product and engineering leadership to landscape technology ecosystems and execute acquisitions, focusing on emerging technologies including AI/ML, Computer Vision, VR/AR, and novel hardware.
