Rune Hven-Jensen is Co-Founder and General Partner at Ugly Duckling Ventures. Ugly Duckling backs Nordic B2B software and technology companies at the pre-seed and seed stages, with a market focus on Medtech, Resilience Tech, and Business Services software; a current public investor profile lists first-ticket size at €100,000 to €1,500,000. Hven-Jensen focuses on B2B SaaS and e-commerce product development, vision, and business strategy. Before co-founding the fund in 2021, he founded the London office of Nodes, later acquired by Monstarlab, held senior and director-level product roles at Planday through multiple funding rounds and its exit to Xero, and had been angel investing since 2016.
