Roland Anderson is a Partner at Battery Ventures based in Boston, a role he was promoted into in April 2026, investing from Battery's latest $3.25 billion fund, Battery Ventures XV. He focuses on growth and later-stage technology investments in software, information services, and enterprise-technology sectors, including SMB software, enterprise software, and enterprise infrastructure and applications, with checks between $250K and $60.0M. He currently sits on the boards of MadCap Software, RetailNext, StoneEagle, Signiant, and Workwell Technologies, and worked on Battery's investment in Vidyard. He was previously involved with Newforma (acquired by Ethos Capital in 2023) and ServiceTitan (Nasdaq: TTAN, IPO in late 2024). He joined Battery as an associate in 2014, having previously worked at Symmetric Capital, a growth equity firm. He graduated magna cum laude from Bentley University with a degree in economics and finance.
