About Investor

Rohit Gupta, CFA, is Co-Founder at BuckLabs (New York) — the software development company that evolved from NYXL/Andbox, the professional esports organization he co-founded in 2017 with Farzam Kamel and Scott Wilpon. NYXL operated New York Excelsior (Overwatch League) and New York Subliners (Call of Duty League); after Cloud9 acquired NYXL's esports operations in June 2024, the remaining entity pivoted to software development and rebranded as BuckLabs. He also recently joined Griffin as an investor to back the next generation of gaming startups. His personal angel investments include TMRW Sports ($15M, October 2022, co-investors Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams, Steph Curry, Justin Timberlake) and FanAI ($13M raised, esports analytics). Previous roles: Ready Player DAO, Tachyon Accelerator (ConsenSys), and Bollyshake. He holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University (2003-2007) and is a CFA charterholder.
