About Investor

Robert Simpson is an Analyst at Elbow Beach Capital, a London-based investor in decarbonisation, sustainable energy, and social impact ventures, which closed a €75.2M second fund in 2025. On the investment team, Rob is responsible for industry research, deal sourcing, and due diligence, and supports fundraising and value creation across the portfolio. His investment focus includes Social Commerce, ClimateTech/CleanTech, EnergyTech, and Social Networks, typically from Seed to Series B, with an investment range of $100K to $5.0M and a sweet spot of $150K. Prior to joining Elbow Beach Capital in 2022, he worked in city-based Corporate Finance firms advising on mid-market capital raises and M&A transactions, and has founded two start-ups. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Leeds and is training as a Chartered Management Accountant.
