Rita Sousa is a Partner at Faber VC and is based in Lisbon, Portugal. She focuses on ClimateTech and CleanTech, material science, and BioTech companies from the Pre-seed stage through Series A. Her investment interests include sustainable technologies, advanced materials, and life-science innovations with strong commercial applications. Rita generally invests between $110K and $5.5M, with a preferred commitment of approximately $1M. As a lead investor, she contributes directly to scientific evaluation, company selection, transaction execution, and portfolio support. At Faber VC, she helps science-driven founders commercialize their innovations and build scalable businesses.
