Raymond Camahort is a Partner in Novo Holdings’ Venture Investments group (Novo Ventures) based in the Boston area, where he focuses on life science companies. He typically invests $100K to $5.0M, with a sweet spot around $1.5M, across pre-seed through Series B in biotech, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, especially next-generation therapies like gene therapy and genome editing. His background includes over 15 years of combined experience in research, business development and venture capital, and he serves or has served on boards and as a board observer for multiple therapeutics and biotech companies such as Inspirna and others. He holds a PhD and trained as a scientist before moving into venture investing.
