Raida Jisr is the Founder & Managing Partner at Amkan Ventures, focusing on investments in SMB Software, Marketplaces, SaaS, Real Estate/PropTech, FinTech, Retail, E-commerce, Security, Games/Gaming/eSports, Entertainment & Sports, Analytics, Food and Beverage, and Consumer Internet at the seed and Series A stages, with an investment range of $100,000 to $5,000,000. Based in the United Arab Emirates, she started her career in banking before moving to the investment team of BY Venture Partner, where she ultimately became a Venture Partner. Recognizing a void in the market for personalized venture consulting services, she established Amkan Advisory, and later created Amkan Ventures, a fund of funds bridging LPs to markets beyond their reach, focusing on emerging managers, U.S. opportunities, solo GPs, and thesis-driven tech funds.
