Phuong Ireland serves as a Venture Partner and Partner, Incubator at Interplay Ventures, where she focuses on seed through Series B investments in Fashion, Retail, and E-commerce sectors, with investment ranges typically between $100K and $5.0M, with particular attention to New York City opportunities. Her background includes spending the earlier part of her career at big consumer brands including Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, and American Eagle Outfitters, working her way up through merchandising, strategy, and new business development roles. Ireland then went on to work at a startup media brand called Some Spider Studios, where she launched an e-commerce business, a marketplace, and an affiliate vertical, and most recently founded an investor-backed fashion company called Wknd Nation that built both an e-commerce business and physical stores in Meatpacking and Soho.
